The rider can choose between two basic set ups, freestyle or wakestyle. Freestyle set up allows higher depower, but cuts a bit of power at the high end. Wakestyle set up allows Slash to have the most power it is able to deliver, but on the other hand there is not as much depower possibility as with the freestyle set up.

Slash offers a relatively high depower for a C-shaped kite. Even when depowered, it maintains its quick turning response.

Speedy profile and light weight of the kite enables the kite to cut faster through air. Special bridle and lines set up provide instant response of the kite to rider’s inputs. It feels like there is not distance between the rider and the kite.

Learning from the airplane and wing design industry we came up with a special speed profile of the struts. This profile shape increases the speed of Slash rapidly.

This shape feature of the wing tips gives the kite lower air resistance and enables the kite to fly faster. The low profile wing tips cut through air with minimum resistance and the rider has more control over the kite.

Allows high air pressure in the struts separately. This makes the kite stronger in maintaining its shape and much more immune when crashing it on water during freestyle practice sessions.

There are two attachment points on the wing tips of the kite for the back lines. These two back lines attachment points can increase or decrease the reactions and the turning speed of the kite. Changing between these points also increase or decrease the bar pressure. Customize your kite according to your preferences and enjoy the ride.

The designs of every part of the Equip Bar II were kept simple and had to provide the desired effects for maximum performance. This makes the bar very user friendly and simple to use.

Original Clamcleat® is integrated in the Equip Bar II and enables quick and easy adjustments of the depower line. Once the adjustments have been made the Clamcleat® locks the line firmly. Pulling the depower line away from the bar makes the kite more depowered. The rider is able to tune up the kite to its maximum performance according to current wind conditions.

Enable the rider to adjust the length of back lines on the kite according to current wind condition. There are three hidden knots under the floater on the bar to which the rider can tie the back lines. Tying the back lines on the knot nearest to the bar gives the kite more power.

The bar ends have been designed to provide maximum comfort and safety. They match the contour of a hand and are made from a soft durable DuPont® elastomeric material in order to avoid blisters on your hand and possible injuries in case of hitting yourself with the bar.

The stopper can be easily moved along the depower line with one hand using just two fingers. Although it moves easily when pushed with a hand, it does not move an inch if you hit it with the bar. The stopper has a special shape and due to this, it will never slam your fingers between itself and the bar.

The chicken loop always connects to the central bar hole in the same direction as the bar. So the chicken loop is always in the right position and ready to be hooked after doing some unhooked tricks.

Highest quality Dyneema® flying lines from the leader in the industry specially designed for kiteboarding. FL-10 Flying Lines have a higher breaking load, lower elongation and lower specific weight then competitors. These lines have set a new standard for abrasion resistance due to new coating. A patented construction with monofil layer assures no kinking.

All Flying Lines on both 4 line and 5 line Equip bar II are 24 meters long. Therefore all Flying Lines can be easily replaced.
